E.A. SARGENT, ARCHITECT (demolished 1963)
THE
STRONG HSE. WAS LOCATED IN WHAT IS NOW CALLED
Old
Short Hills Park, near the intersections of Hobart,
Knollwood & Park. The house apparently one of the early
tract homes built in this area by developer Stewart Hartshorn,
was developed primarily in the 1880's. The area where this
house was is now primarily 1950's or 60's housing.
Information supplied by Lynne K. Ranieri, an outstanding
researcher & volunteer with the Milburn-Short Hills Hist. Soc. |
