ALFREDO SALDIVAR
MONUMENTO A LA REVOLUCION - MEXICO CITY
by Thomas Yanul - Page 3

MEXICO CITY, ABOUT 1930. SHOWING STRUCTURE THAT BECAME THE REVOLUTION MONUMENT.
AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE PHOTOS, THIS HOME APPEARS TO BE AT THE END OF THE BLOCK ADJACENT TO THE OLD UNFINISHED PARLIAMENT STRUCTURE.  IT IS THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS
A MIDDLE OR UPPER CLASS AREA AT THE TIME, AND THE FAMILY SHOWN HAS SOME CONNECTION TO ALFREDO SALDIVAR, WHO IS THOUGHT TO BE MAKING THE PHOTOGRAPHS.
THE MATRONLY WOMAN POSSIBLY THE MOTHER TO THE WOMAN, AND GRANDMOTHER OF THE THE CHILDREN . I WOULD LIKE TO IDENTIFY THE PEOPLE WHO LIVED IN THIS HOME AT THE TIME. CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY WHAT STREET OR LOCATION THIS HOME WAS AT THE TIME OF THE PHOTOGRAPH  ?  Neg envelope is marked " C. Miramon Casa"

IN ABOVE PHOTO, THE OLD PARLIAMENT
STRUCTURE CAN BE SEEN THROUGH THE TREE
AND ABOVE THE ROOFLINE. I THINK VIEW IS
LOOKING EAST.
PHOTO ON LEFT,CLOSEUP OF 3 GIRLS,
 YOU CAN SEE THE STREETLAMP,
  WHICH WOULD INDICATETHE
BUILDING IS ON THE CORNER.

LOOKING WEST I THINK
